I’m trying to find a groove of a hi hat keeping time in 4/4 using just the pedal like what might be played in a count off but can’t seem to find any patterns with just the foot playing, only opened and closed with various stick hits. I have a number of add ons but can’t locate any grooves where the hi hat is only played with the foot. The count ins I find in the Grooves search are only closed hat hit with stick hits. Is there a way I can edit the closed hi hat count in groove so that it emulates just the pedal being used?
Thanks,
JoeM
You can change articulations (or entire kit pieces for that matter) using either Edit Play Styles and/or the Groove Editor. Put the groove on your timeline and open either and make your changes.

The last discussion within Section 4.4 is that of the [Groove Parts] area of the RESULTS
and speaks to enabling the user to isolate or remove different instruments making up the selected groove.
