Greetings,
I don’t do this very often as 99% of the time I compose within Cubase’s own Key Editor. However, once in a while I will drag and drop parts from EZBass’s Grooves section. (I store a lot of my own grooves there).
Whenever I do this, EZB always creates an extra “SysEx Data” Track.
I seem to remember that SD3 had this issue too but it was solved. (Could be wrong on this but SD3 does indeed work fine now).
Is there any way to stop this happening?
Thanks, P.

OK solved by turning off Auto Dissolve Format 0 in Cubase Prefs > MIDI > MIDI File. Odd that SD3 does not require that though.

It happens with EZbass MIDI because it contains key signatures.

Thanked by: Phil PendleburyHi Olof,
Thanks ever so much for your reply.
I figured that out when examining the sysex file.
I wonder if it may be possible to request a switch for this in EZB prefs? A checkbox with something like “Include Key Signature in Drag and Drop”.
It would be very useful, as you can imagine, as when dragging a part onto a project the key sig is really not usually required.
Thanks again, P.
