Can i plug in a real bass and play with the sounds from ezbass?
/Michael
I don’t know about that, but I suspect you can’t. It’s not like putting an Amp Sim on the audio track you’re recording to. I can tell you that I record real bass using my Fender Jazz and then get that into EZBass for editing and also to use the sounds in EZB, which are great.
You do this by inserting the Toontrack Audio Sender on the pre-recorded Bass track, BEFORE any other plugin on the track, and then open EZBass, go to Audio Tracker, select appropriate input at the bottom (this will be your recorded Bass track) and then you just Play the song / DAW and EZB will record the bass track into EZB where it becomes a Midi track for you to edit etc.
Hope this helps you and gets you onto the right track.
