    Hi,

I presume that you mean Superior Drummer 3 when you write “EZ Superior”? Anyways, is it possible for you to zip archive a session where it doesn’t sound as expected and attach to a post here? Like I have done here to this post?

We have similar setups, so it should be no problem getting you up and running.

Sorry, I don’t know how to zip or anything like that. Won’t let just video cause file is to large. Not sure what that would accomplish anyway. I can’t even figure out how to sequence in ez superior.  The is no video help. Just drag and drop midi preset crap. I don’t want that. Again, it just seems like effects and or selected kit are not transferring to my Pro Tools.

I can tell you after messing around today that if I sequence a bar or two within EZ Superior then drag and drop that sequence to a midi track in Pro Tools, the drums sound as they should.

Okay, think I have it figured out with a description of velocity from toontrack tech guy. I have to change the velocity curve on every drum, cymbal, etc to get it to send correctly to DAW.

    Hi,

that sounds overly complex and definitely not something I have to do and I work with Pro Tools and Toontrack instruments on a daily basis.

There are a lot of how-to-videos on the Toontrack YouTube channel:
    https://www.youtube.com/c/toontrack/playlists

Maybe some of them will shed some light on how to make things easier?

Not sure what to tell ya John, but it worked. Was a simple adjustment i made ro each drum and cymbal as i remapped the midi to a usable piano roll on the instrument track.  Could be that I’m using just a mouse to sequence and maybe you have a separate midi controller?
