Has anyone successfully been able to play the EZDrummer 2 and map the correct midi notes with a Roland SPD-30 pad set?
For the life of me, i can’t seem to figure this out because as a drummer myself, i want to create specific drum patterns that are not within the patterns i can find and want to set this up so i can play the pattern in FL Studio, i would be grateful for anyone’s help in correctly showing me how to assign the pad to the correct drum in EZDrummer 2 as i cannot find this specific topic anywhere either in toontrack.com or on the internet at all? 🙁
Thank you all in advance and hope you all are having a great 2022! 🙂

I figured it out, had to turn off the GBL on each pad on the SPD-30 to channel 1 and then i was able to find the correct drum/cymbal in the note numbers to activate that sound!
This may help others trying this and i’m sure it will probably work regardless of what DAW you’re using! 🙂
Cheers!

EZD2 will not do any custom midi mapping.
You must map the pads on your Roland Module to Toontrack’s Midi Map.
Find the Map For your EZX via Menu>About Sound Libraries>Choose Your EZX> Midi Layout.
Your Module’s manual… https://static.roland.com/assets/media/pdf/SPD-30_e03_W.pdf
Start reading at page 63.
Hope that works for you.
