The Installed Resource and the plug-in are not the same version

    I’ve. Ever had this but if you do a search there are posts on this already. It’s usually to do with moving the plugin manually after you installed and then trying to do an update.

    SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

    Could you check that;

    /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/Superior Drummer 3.vst

    /Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/Superior Drummer 3.aaxplugin

    Have the same modification date?

    If not then yes, try installing Superior Drummer 3 (just the application/plugins not the libraries) and make sure the AAX version get’s updated.

    Hi,

    running the SD3 plug-in update again and clicking the Customise button to check that the AAX is checked, is the first thing I would do.

    If this still doesn’t fix it, I suggest first manually deleting the Superior Drummer 3 AAX plug-in file found in [Mac HD]/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/ then running the update again.
