So after about 20 MIDI bounces under my belt, now SD3 is just changing the kits in the “bounce” phase in stand-alone mode? Example, I create a MIDI track in MIDI Editor using “Dry Gretsch” kit, save it, then bounce it to an audio WAV file and now I have another SD3 kit’s audio.
It just started doing this and I never changed any settings. Like I said, I have bounced about 20 or so MIDI projects and it worked perfect previously.
Any ideas on what is happening?
Hi,
haven’t seen that before. Would it be possible for you to ZIP archive that SD3 Project file and attach to a post here?

Hi John,
Tried to zip but it said the file is too big lol. Basically, I created a project with my Dry Gretsch kit and when I bounce it changes the audio.
Can I send it to you another way?
John,
Maybe it’s not changing kits per se but not bouncing the mixer changes(eq, eft, etc)? I am using the preset kits with SD3.
It is only doing this with current new projects. All my old projects can bounce fine.
John,
Nope that’s not it. It’s a completely different kit when bounced.
Hi,
I will try to get you a File Request link so you can send me your .sd3p project file. I think I need to have a look at it.
Checking the Advanced tab on the Track Bounce page is a start if things do not sound as expected, i.e. ‘Bounce Output Channels’ vs. ‘Microphone Channels’ and ‘Force Enable All Bleed’. It still doesn’t explain completely different drums, though.
BR,
John
