Hi All,

It’s been a while, my brother and I just finished a new song called “The Hard Times Have Got To Go” Its a bluesy 12/8 song with a hint of R&B with a dash of Gospel thrown for good measure (pun intended). Any constructive criticism would be appreciated. I am using the Vintage and Custom SDX in SD3.

Sounds really good! I can almost hear a touch of Gaither influence in there. I really like how the C & V fits in as it almost sounds true to the era. I don’t seem to give that SDX enough love.

Hi Bear-Faced Cow,

I know what you mean. This is the first time I really used C&V for a song. I drawn to this particular SDX cymbal selection with the Gretsch round badge kit. I have to admit compared to the newer SDX’s the kit load size is really small and that always kinda of put me off but it worked out okay.
