How do I load 64bit version of EXD2? I thought I WAS!!!

    Hi,

    • The default install path for a Toontrack VST plug-in on 32-bit Windows is:
      C:\Program Files\VstPlugins\Toontrack
    • The default install path of the 32-bit VST plug-in on 64-bit Windows is:
      C:\Program Files (x86)\VstPlugins\Toontrack
    • Finally, the default install path of the 64-bit plug-in on 64-bit Windows is:
      C:\Program Files\VstPlugins\Toontrack

    The (x86) path on 64-bit Windows is for 32-bit components. Reaper should not try to load both a 32-bit version and a 64-bit version of EZdrummer 2, nor should it just load the 32-bit version and bit-bridge it, since there is a 64-bit version.

    Check your Reaper Preferences > Plug-Ins > VST that there is no path leading to ‘Program Files(x86)\VstPlugins’ but instead to ‘Program Files\VstPlugins’.

    Also, the current version of EZdrummer 2 is 2.2.2, in case you are 2.1.8 as your post says. Please use the Toontrack Product Manager to download and install your updates.
