Accessing EZ Keys

I’m having a problem accessing my EZ Keys Software from an external hard drive. I’m not sure if this matters but, I initially purchased the software and used a MacBook Pro before purchasing the MAC Desktop computer which I am using now. I didn’t think it would matter since I have it on my external hard drive.

Please help!

Hi,

I guess you mean that your EZkeys sound libraries are on an external drive and that you don’t have those libraries in EZkeys now? I would suggest that you go to /Users/Shared/Toontrack/Preferences and delete the file com.toontrack.ezkeys.plist, then start the installer for any EZkeys sounds library (even though it’s already on your external drive). Click the Customize button in the installer and change the sound library location there – set it to the EZkeys folder which is the parent folder of the library on the external drive. And finish the installation. Then the Toontrack Product Manager and EZkeys should see your other libraries being installed as well.
