Each instrument does have it’s own volume level to a certain degree as shown here…

But if that isn’t enough, you can look at where that cymbal instrument mic is routed through and you can adjust it there as well…In this example, I am just viewing the dynamic overhead mics, but I also have cymbals routed in the condenser mics as well as in the room mics.  All of these can adjust the cymbal volume individually.

    Hope that helps.

The other option that I use is to set up an individual channel for each cymbal and then you can control level and bleed into other mic channels. Also See this thread below in this forum. Hope it helps, Andrew

It is not about loud versus quiet. It is about processed versus unprocessed. The EZXs are mix ready, as they are processed in not so much that they are louder but in that they contain less dynamic range. The core library contains the full dynamic range of each kit piece, symbols in particular, thus appear quieter in order to let the full transients go through. In order to match the EZX, you would need to apply processing (EQ, compression, saturation, etc.) to the kit pieces in the core library, as well as busses, in a similar manner, in order to get the overall sound to be even in order to sit in a mix.
