No, it doesn’t. Editing would have to be done in the DAW like with EZD2.

    That’s a surprise.

Are there any plans to update it?

Its been requested so I’m sure the developers are aware.

    Hi Scott,

I’m sure they are aware too, but are they going to do anything about?

I’ve spent today trying to get to grips with the demo version and I must say it is very hard work given that it is not possible to test exporting midi to a DAW and nor is it possible to save my test data. The entire UI needs a complete update. It is terribly out-of-date compared to SD3 and EZbass which are really good. At the very least, I think it needs to have an internal Grid Editor added to eliminate having to transfer edited midi data back and forth between the app and a DAW all the time – that’s just not good enough in the 21st century.  It is a real shock going from SD3 and EZbass to this ancient interface – given that they are all products from the great Toontrack company.

It seems to me that the only way I can try EZkeys properly is to buy it so that all aspects can be tested. However, in the event that I can not get to grips with the interface, would I be able to get a refund within a short period of time?

    Best regards,

I have no development secrets about future releases. And I couldn’t say if I did due to an NDA anyway.

Having said that, I agree with all that you point out that needs updating.

I believe their refund policy is for software that hasn’t been installed so if you purchased and installed, used it and didn’t like it, you wouldn’t be allowed to return. You could resell it however.
