Plugins typically retain all settings when you save a project file. I have noticed that EZBass doesn’t do so. I want the tone setting in the Bass tab set to 30%. If I save the file and open it up again, it defaults to 100%. I tried saving my settings as a preset but it still doesn’t retain the setting. This seems to be a bug since all plugins retain parameter settings when saving a project file. I’m using Studio One 5.4.1 in Windows 10. Anyone experiencing this?
Hi Daniel,
When loading EZbass in Studio One 5.4.1.66992, adjusting some of the knobs under the “Effects” section in the Bass tab, and saving (both from the DAW and inside EZbass, as both project and preset), my knob values are properly restored when I restart Studio One and load the project/preset. Maybe I am missing something or perhaps I’m misinterpreting your situation. Could you please elaborate a bit and describe in better detail what steps you take to get the described behaviour?
I did notice however, that if you in Studio One change something in EZbass, and then try to load the same project, Studio One won’t force a reload even if you have made changes to your project. Closing the project through File -> Close (..and don’t save changes), and then reloading the project will restore the values to the ones that were last saved.
Hope this helps!

Hello Mattias! Thanks for your reply. Since I was still having this issue and didn’t see any response from anyone here, I generated a support ticket and the person who responded confirmed they were able to reproduce the problem in Studio One. The workaround for now is to use the VST2 version instead on VST3.
