I’m using the Vintage Bass and have created an entire bass part for a song using a combination of importing the original audio bass part and editing/copying in the Grid Editor. However, some groups of notes are sounding as though they are heavily damped (short , muted notes) even thought I have tried setting all notes in the Grid Editor to -127 damping so that they should clearly ring out by highlighting all notes in the track and set Damping to -127.
I’ve had a look at the .EZBP file and all references to ‘Damp’ have a value of ‘-127’, but some notes still sound damped. I’ve tried the same with Velocity and Dynamics but nothing seems to clear the muted sound of these groups of notes.
Perhaps it is not a damping issue, but what else could it be and how can I get all notes in the grid to have the same character?
I’ve also tried copying and pasting using Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V to replace the affected notes in the Grid Editor to no avail.

Could you attach a zipped project with this issue and specify where those notes are, please?

Hi Olof,
The issue seems to have been resolved in my ‘Forum Problem’ post, but I am now being very careful never to touch certain knobs on the interface.
