How to create a GM map for EZ Drummer

I am trying to use some commercial midi files from a client of mine who wants to use the EZ Drummer sounds on the drum track of these midi files. Is there a downloadable GM map for EZ Drummer or anyway to create one as currently the EZ drummer drum sounds are all over the place when loading and playing these midi files

Only Superior Drummer 3 can do custom Midi Maps. There’s some Vdrum presets that will merge some notes in the settings, but i doubt that’s what you’re looking for. You’ll want to figure mapping out with your DAW if it offers the feature. I know some Reaper folks have done it. Not sure what else is out there. EZD2 will not do custom midi mapping.

EZ Drummer’s standard mapping extends the GM Mapping, as GM only contains a small set of articulations. If the MIDI files are in standard GM MIDI, then there should be no problem using them in EZD. I am if you want to make use of any of the other articulations within EZ Drummer, then you can either use Edit Play Styles or modify the MIDI in your DAW.
