The issue: When I drag and drop a midi file from SD3 into Cubase’s timeline, it changes the temp to whatever the midi file was originally recorded at? This behavior does not happen in Studio One or Reaper? I have the follow host activated? I have looked through the preferences in Cubase and find nothing related to importing midi that could change this behavior. Anyone know of a setting in SD3 to change this behavior or maybe in Cubase? The work around is to add a tempo track in Cubase and delete the changed point where the new midi file changes the tempo. And then the file plays at the host tempo. This behavior was not happening in earlier versions of SD3. Thanks for replying.
