    Hi Slohcine,

There is a known issue right now with loaded CC in the EZbass song track that makes EZbass freeze.

    https://www.toontrack.com/release-notes/release-notes-ezbass/

Do you have CC loaded in the song track right now? We would be happy to look at an EZbass project file to confirm if this is the known bug that is going to be fixed in the next update. Use File > Save as in EZbass and then attach that project save file here.

Please also test disabling Follow Host in EZbass and retry provoking the crash, does it also crash/freeze then?

    Same here and following.

EZ Fretless and Cubase Pro 11.0.30 in my case. No problems on a simple part in the beginning, but as it gets a bit more vivid Cubase just freezes, which might underline the CC theory. Same when exporting. Exporting always stops at the very same point (where some Fretless slide kicks in).

    Thank you and kind regards,

    Mathias

    Hi

I have the same problem in Logic 10.6.3 where Vibrato (Modulation) on one note in EZBass freezes playback when playback hits the note and therefore Logic crashes. Switching off Follow Host still causes a crash when the song track is played independently. Deleting the Vibrato (Modulation) on the note in the CC track window allows normal playback in either Logic or in EZBass.

    Logic 10.6.3
    OS Catalina 10.15.7
    EZBass 1.1.0

    Thanks

The workaround for this is, after loading a project, for each CC curve, select all nodes, move them slightly and move them back to the correct position. This needs to be done every time you open a project though. Saving the file doesn’t save the fix.

Customer support stated that a 1.1.1 fix is on the way but no definitive date yet. Kind of a pain.

    Hello Petter,

Thanks for your response.  No, the upright song track should not have had any CC data.  Since I removed the EZBass from the project, I don’t have a copy of the song track to send to you.  I have added EZBass back to the project and loaded the Upright bass.  I also disabled “Follow Host” since I’m using MIDI tracks in Cubase.  So far, so good.  I have stopped/started Cubase several times and loaded the problematic project without an trouble.

I’ll update this case if I learn anything new.

    Thanks,
