I had the same problem and it was because my pro tools was version 11.3 and I believe with the Ezbass update you need version 12 or later. I finally updated my pro tools and it worked just fine. I hope this helps.
i updated to the newest version of EZBass and when i tried to open my session of pro tool EZbass showed up as a plugin that was missing. it showed up on my manager and i could use it as a stand alone plugin. but it will not work with pro tools 11.3.1. I’ve tried to uninstall it and reinstall it but now i can’t get it to download properly. i don’t know what i should or should not be trying to install. i heard the new install doesn’t work with 11.3.1 nut i can’t get it to go back to the older version.
also when i get the latest download updated now it says the aax version is missing and i find it to get it back so now it won’t show up in pro tool at all anymore. its become a complete cluster
