I cannot start Logic Pro X (10.5.1) after SD3 3.2.5 update.
It might caused by loading or scanning AU when the Logic Pro X starts.
the error says, ‘Logic Pro X unexpectedly quit while using the Superior drummer 3 plug-in. … etc’
but it’s totally fine with older SD3 3.1.7
is there anyone facing the same issue?
Does any crash log get created in ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/
? Use “Go to Folder” in the Go menu in Finder to get there.

I could not found the crash log generated related to superior drum 3 AU.
but, I’ve found the log generated while AU scanning after AU caches flushing.
I’m not sure what that log shows, it contains no trace of Superior being loaded.
Is there no crash log with matching creation date? Perhaps it starts with “com.apple.audio.InfoHelper”?
Also, if you go to Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > HAL, do you have a “Digidesign CoreAudio.plugin” or “Avid CoreAudio.plugin” there? Those have been known to cause issues like this, so if you have them, move them out (to desktop for example, and make sure they are no longer in the HAL folder), restart the computer and try to start Logic.

Yeah the thing you may want to do is go into the plug-in manager within Logic and reset and re-validate SD3. You may also have a corrupt AU Cache, which would require deleting it and revalidating all of your plug-ins.

Well, finally, I’ve solved this issue by deleting these AU config files.
~ / Library / Preferences / com.apple.audio.InfoHelper.pilst
~ / Library / Caches/ com.apple.audiounits.cache
and rescan AU by starting Logic pro, everything works fine.
thanks for all you reply
I’m sharing this result for further helping.
