If I try to import an audio bass part from Nuendo using the Audio Tracker tab, chords seem to be ignored.
I don’t always play only single notes but often incorporate two-note partial chords (7ths, 11ths etc).
Given that EZBass normally imports every other click, bang, clunk and thump why can it not import more than one actual note at the same time?
I have found that missing notes can be added manually using the Grid Editor, but it seems odd to me that this has to be done.
Am I just missing something?

Audio Tracker is monophonic and not polyphonic. So yes, only one note at a time. It will not interpret chords.

That’s disappointing. Are there any plans to make it polyphonic?
I also notice that when EZB chooses a note to import from a chord (which seems to be random), the note is placed one octave below the actual pitch of the note, which is weird. Is it possible for ‘Audio Tracker’ to import the chosen note from a chord at the correct pitch?

I’m not sure if or when they will look into making it polyphonic. Its design is to interpret single note lines (from a guitar or similar) and translate it MIDI for EZbass. Since it’s monophonic, it doesn’t surprise me that it currently has a problem with the octave if you’re sending it chords and not single notes. If you use a monophonic file, does it have the octave issue or is it just with chords?

It is just when it encounters more than one note played at the same time, in my case just two notes together – only one of the notes is imported and it is always an octave lower than actually played. Monophonic notes are imported correctly.
