Hi there,
I used to work with SD3 and it is a wonderful product. I decided to buy EZ Bass but I have an important issue with it.
Since I bought EZ bass I CAN’t record anything without “crack” in my Audient ID44/computer. I tried everything = increase the buffer size even if it adds lot of latency nothing. Every time I TRIED to record something I Heard those cracks (even on sd3 now).
It took me so long to understand that the problem came from EZ Bass. Even with an empty project, even if EZ bass wasn’t active !
So I Decided to uninstall EZ Bass and the problem disappeared. Just to be sure, I downloaded it again from my Toontrack product manager ( everything is updated). Result = I had the same problem… So Decided to remove it again => problem disappeared.
Does anyone has intel regarding this issue ?
I work on a iMac
3,2 GHz Intel Core i7 6 thread, 16g ram so this is not an old computer. My sound card is an Audient ID44 (last drivers) and USE cubase 11 pro (fully updated).

Hi,
Do you have iLok installed? If so, try uninstalling it (the base iLok software) and see if it helps. Then try reinstalling the latest version of it. Although no Toontrack software uses iLok, it is known to sometimes cause issues depending on what plug-ins are installed.
Otherwise, I have no ideas, it does not seem possible really that EZbass not running could cause anything.
