SD3 Version 3.2.4
Edrum Kit Alesis Crimson ii Special Edition
That usually happens when the computer can’t cope and drops the driver. What interface and what computer are you using?
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
My computer is a prebuilt windows 10, 16gigs DDR4 ram,I7 6700k Cpu and for an interface im using focusrite solo 3rd gen.
That should be able to work. What size buffers are you using though? Have you done all the windows hacks? Do you use the steinberg power scheme? Does SD3 throw an error? If there is a problem that SD3 sees it usually shows that it can’t communicate with the audio interface. When it stops working can you check that midi us working? Do you still see drums triggering? Can you click on a drum in SD3 and get a sound. Trying to see if midi or audio has stopped working.

If the audio stream is still ok after midi stopped working (check by mouse-clicking on SD3 kit pieces): Try a different USB cable for the midi connection. Still the same? -> Try to connect MIDI DIN 5 pin to a decent midi interface (I recommend Roland UM-One MK2).
