Hi,
Using EZ Keys for several years and enjoy it! I’d like to know how I can extend a particular chord/note length in a song. When moving the right edge of a block, the result will be 2 of the same chords rather than extending the length of the note. When I try to copy and paste the block, the same thing happens.
I’d like to be able to extend the last note in a song at times and also extend specific notes within a song, rather than end up with 2 notes. no success so far. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Chuck
That is really a great question. Shows you are thinking out of the box. Now if I fully understand what you are asking to do… I believe it is very doable, but not in EZKeys alone. You are asking to edit the midi and this can only be done in your DAW not in EZKeys. Maybe in EZKeys V2 when it is released. Instead, you will have to get it as close as you can in EZKeys and then move the midi into you DAW for editing. There you should have the full ability to extend/adjust anything you want. Now you insert EZKeys as a VST on that track and you are done. I do this in Reaper all the time and it works sweet.

Thanked by: Chuck_34Thanks, Jazzmandan,
Makes sense to me! I’ll do that.
I guess I was looking for the lazy guy’s way out by hooking onto the last chord block and pulling it along to any length that I wanted for long extended chords. Ain’t happening!
Editing the midi through the DAW makes sense and I can get exactly what I want.
Appreciate your help!
Chuck
