Try in EZD2, Settings>Audio/Midi Setup>Audio Device. Adjust your buffer size there, increase the number. Lower number means less latency but more room for errors. Bigger number means more latency but safer. Find the peaceful medium for your system.

If you’re using as ASIO driver, launch the software that controls that driver and increase the buffer size there.

May want to restart between testing settings.

Thanks, but no change. Tried every interval all the way up to 256, but by then the latency was too bad for my use anyway.

Does the same thing happen when you click the ride cymbal from the computer keyboard?

    Yes

Is this a specific preset? Does it happen for all presets? Which kit are you using or does it make a difference?

The EZD mixer, how do the levels look on the OH channel? (I am assuming the ride cymbal is coming through the OH channel).

I am assuming you are only using outputs 1/2, yes?

One more thing…. could you try changing the output to your internal soundcard from the Focusrite and check if the same thing happens?

It happens on both the modern and vintage kits and happens on every preset I tried. I’m away from my set-up at the moment, so it’ll be a couple hours before I can check the other stuff.

It just occurred to me though, this did not happen in the demo, if that makes a difference

First tried the realtek driver, sounded fine. Then looked at OH channel. It’s set at -4 and the yellow number is 1.

But, of course now it’s working just fine. I hadn’t restarted the laptop in a while, I guess that’s all it needed?

Thanks for your help, if it happens again and a restart doesn’t work I’ll post again, lol

    Glad to hear it’s working

Vanilla install on Mac with Logic, this happens.

Garbage UX, that’s all it is. It doesn’t even work out of the box and we’re expected to change software parameters just for it to *maybe* not blow up our speakers?

    What a joke

What’s not working for you? What OS version are you using? What EZDrummer version are you using? What audio interface are you using?
