If I open EZ Bass and track a recorded bass line I get multiple (stacked) Authorization exception error message for other companies plugins such as Echo Boy, Weiss etc.
Reads: Encrypted channel bad checksum
Remove EZ Bass and the problem goes away..
Anyone else experiencing this issue?
Hi,
this sounds strange indeed but I suspect that those plugins have some kind of Auth problems with your host.
Which host/DAW are you using? Inserting one of those other plugins works without getting any auth errors?
The EZbass error happens in a session with no other plugins loaded?
Are there any steps you have tried, like re-installing, re-scanning your plugins, etc?
BR,
John

Thanks for getting back John.
I will need to approach this systematically.. the problem has occurred in both Cubase Pro and Luna.
I’ve never had any such issues before this regarding authorizations only began after loading up Ezbass demo version initially as I liked what I heard I purchased it straight away hoping the problem would disappear.
I will try your suggestions to troubleshoot and track down where it goes amuck.
I’m running ezmix, ezkeys, SSD3 a d ezdrums without any such issues.
Cheers
Peter
