So, here’s a good one….
I have been using ezdrummer 1 for years, on my 2010 mac laptop running logic 9 as my main recording system…
I am not upgrading the OS on the 2010 computer as I want to stay in Logic 9.
I want to get EZdrummer 2, it is much better than the old version 1, for my new 2018 laptop,
so I can write drums for my songs, and then export the drum fils, into my logic 9 on the other laptop.
I’ve seen topics and answers here about exporting, ( midi/wav) but I need to know if I can “put” those wav or midi files, into Logic 9 on my earlier 2010 macbook pro..
So, what do you think ?
I think wav/midi files are very universal. No different than in 2010. Export from one computer, import into the other. If you’re exporting EZD2 midi files to import into EXD1, there may be some midi mapping issues.
At a glance, the mapping between EZD1 and EZD2 “Modern Kit” look pretty similar and would probably translate pretty well. Can’t tell you from experience though.
