The percussion instruments (claps, shakers, and tamborine) are included in each EZX sound expansion, found in the upper right corner of the screen. The problem is you have to use a separate MIDIÂ pack (EZX percussion) to incorporate the percussion into a drum groove. So, if I’m using, for instance, “Southern Soul” sound expansion, the percussion instruments cannot be controlled through, let’s say the “Soul Grooves” MIDI Pack. The mixer section for each sound expansion has the individual percussion instruments included too. Many of the MIDI Packs have altered times like 5/4, 7/4, etc. which makes it impossible to use the percussion instruments with these grooves.
I would really like ToonTrack to consider adding the percussion instruments (claps, shakers, tamborine) to all new MIDI Packs so we can compose grooves using these available instruments without having to make a separate recording.
