Does your EZD2 interface show version 2.1.8 or the latest version 2.2.1?

Can you try running the 2.2.1 update again (not the 2.1.8) and then try installing the Gospel EZX from Product Manager?

ok, now I am having a “The Installation Fail” message when I do that.

For which install? EZD2 2.2.1 update or the Gospel EZX?

The only thing I can think to try is uninstall EZD2 and then reinstall the Full Product Installer, then the 2.2.1 update.

I have had same problem with Rock Solid EZX.

All other EZx packages updated and installed.

    Hi Joe,

did you follow Scott’s advice above? I am running The Rock Solid EZX here with Ezdrummer 2.2.1 on Big Sur.

Yes, had to re-install ezd2 and then install the EZX. Seems there is a problem in the software. Worked fine on all but one EZX.

    thanks,

    Joe

Having same problem with 2.2.2 installed and trying to reinstall expansions. Singer songwriter is complaining about need for newer version of drum sampler.

Have tried to reinstall EZD2 but not sure how to do that. Removed the file from Apps and reinstalled with PM, now it says standalone is not installed. And the EXZ still does not install.

Tried once more. During installation it does say that a standalone has been placed in the folder, but it does not show there.

So the problem has become much bigger after trying to reinstall. Now I cannot use EZD at all.

SOLVED. Looks like I had gone wrong. Should not have removed the app in the first place, so put it back. Then I had tried to reinstall not only the newest EZD (which I had already tried) but the original + then updates. Then downloaded and installed 2.2.2 and it helped.

License transfer fees countervalue is $ 2,250.00
    (done...)

So my anger about the Toontrack license transfer fee introduced in June 2021 is not entirely unfounded...
