Hey there!
One more question for today! 🤗 For some reason, a MIDI export to my DAW is not identical with what I initially composed in the grid editor. To avoid any misunderstandings, this is what I did (rudimentary test setup):
If you listen to the second file (EZBass (MIDI Export).mp3) you´ll see that in this bounce there´s a ghost slap missing in the beginning (@2.6sec) as well as a slide a bit later (@7.1sec).
My question is: Why? 🧐
Hi jami,
can you please save this as an EZbass Project, ZIP archive it and attach to a post here?

Hey John,
thanks for your reply – sorry, I was offline due to family reasons and just came back.
Sure! Please find the project attached to this message!
PS: FYI, I´m currently using the METAL EBX & it was used in this project as well.
Hi,
sorry I missed your post.
I can’t replicate what you are experiencing, I get exactly the same behavior in standalone as when I drag the MIDI to a DAW (in this case Logic).
I’m on EZbass 1.0.9, Logic 10.6.2 and macOS 11.3.1.
Which DAW are you using?

Thanked by: jamiHey John,
thanks a lot for your reply! I´m using REAPER 6.18, EZBass 1.0.9 and am running macOS 10.15
Just checked again – I still get the missing articulations/slides described in the OP…
ping 😉 Did you stumble upon anything? The problem still exists…
You are playing the midi from the DAW back through EZBass – Right, and not using some other bass VST? If not, then there are articulations in the midi which only EZBass can play. Otherwise, hope we get to the bottom of this. The playback of the midi should be identical between the synched VST or the DAW Track.
Can you upload the EZBass file so we can try it at our end? I have not heard this issue on my PC version, but I am pretty new to EZbass.

Thanked by: jamiHey man, thanks for jumping in! 🤗 I am not using any other bass VST at all! Sure, you can find my EZBass File in my second post! 😇 Let me know if you find something!
OK, let me work with the mp3s . Here is an image of “…what you see is what you hear.” This is EZBass’s analysis of the two mp3s. Yes, there are differences. I am new to this package so not entirely sure of exactly what and why things have changed, but I bet there is indeed an interesting reason. That someone can enlighten us on. By the way, you have good ears, 2.6 and 7.1 look like problem areas, along with others.
Don’t use Reaper, so can’t speak directly, but in Cakewalk, if the MIDI buffer setting is too low, some events/notes can get dropped. Might check that in your DAW.
