I believe Big Sur is supported on Intel (I ran it as a test and it seemed to work fine).
Apple M1 native support is not currently available.

I’m on Big Sur on a M1 chip Mac. Worked fine from the very fist day.
First I had to go through my DAW (Logic) though as Roland TD17 driver was not up to date for M1.
