Hi!
I’ve been able to remap almost eveything using LoopBe1 in combination with EZdrummer. I succesfully created a new Pad in LoopBe1 to transform my hi-hat into a second bass drum, so I can play double bass. It works good, but sometimes I hear a hi-hat sound while playing and I think it’s the “splash” of the hi-hat. I don’t know why it doesn’t sound like a splash though, it’s an open hi-hat sound. My guess is that it happens when I accidentally release the pedal too soon and/or don’t push it enough before releasing it. That’s how the splash sound is achieved with my Alesis when it’s not connected to my PC, by the way.
Even if the hi-hat is remapped to be a bass drum, the splash sound is a different trigger which I must delete or remap, but I can’t find it. I tried to change the “edrum” profile in EZdrummer options to “Roland”, “Generic” etc. but nothing changes. I’ve also tried to create a new “hi-hat” in LoopBe1 instead of a generic pad, but I get the same problem.
I’m stuck, can you help me?
Thanks.
