    Hi,

not having any problems here in Reaper 6.24 but I’m on macOS 10.15.7.

Please try updating Reaper to the latest version.

Oh, they’re 6.24 already… Well, updated, same results.

Well, for starters, begin with making sure you are not having both 32-bit and 64-bit versions being picked up by Reaper (you’re running the 64-bit Reaper, right?). This is easiest done by removing all EZkeys plug-in versions on your computer and then re-run the latest 64-bit 1.3.0 player installer.

I may also be seeing some strange behavior.  Need to figure out what exactly is going on….  OK, took a few minutes but things started to make sense again. So looks like all is good here for EZkeys 1.3.0 in Reaper 6.23.

Did you do something? I tried uninstall, reinstall String machine 64bit, no avail. Uninstall, reinstall String machine 32bit, same result. Uninstall, reinstall Mellotoon 64, no, 32 no. It worked the last time I used it, I don’t remember how many weeks ago it was, but anyways.

    Hi Mikko,

if you are only using Reaper 64-bit, why do you have the 32-bit version of EZkeys installed?

Please start with searching your system for all files named ‘ezkeys.dll’ and delete them manually.
Then run the 1.3.0 Player update, 64-bit only.
Open Reaper and go to Preferences > Plug-Ins > VST and click Re-scan.

Would it be possible for you to post screen shots of your ‘Plug-Ins’ and ‘VST’ preference pages?

    John

To see if that would work, of course. Otherwise everything is and has been 64bit.

    Hi Mikko,

those Preference panes look the same as mine, so no new ideas for you there.

If you perform a Search on your system now for ‘EZkeys.dll’, how many entries show up in the result list and where are they located?

    John

Reaper went to 6.25 yesterday, same results. One dll in “D:/VI/Toontrack”.

OK, so you have a Custom installation of the plug-in not on the system drive.
Could you please Uninstall the EZkeys Player and re-install but this time Custom install the .dll to one of those 64-bit paths (i.e. not ‘Program Files (x86)/) on your C:\ drive?
Then please check that the standalone works as expected first before launching Reaper and Re-Scan the VST plug-ins.
Please check the version number displayed in the interface in both cases.

    John

1.3.0, standalone works, plugin doesn’t work no matter where it is located.

    OK,

I suspect that you need to open a Ticket directly with Toontrack Support, then.

Please visit any of the FAQ pages, at the bottom of each, there is a ‘Contact Support’ button.

    John
