I’ve migrated to a new Mac with new drives and would like to avoid having to download all of the midi packs and libraries. Would rather just copy/move library folders and direct the software appropriately but the Product Manager doesn’t seem to give an option for “looking” for the library files. Instead, it just says the products are not downloaded and only gives download options. Am I missing something here?
You still have to download and install the SD3 software/plug-in.
Copy all your SDX to your new disks.
Shutdown Product Manager
Start SD3 standalone. It should display an error indicating there are no libraries and give you the option to navigate to the new location.
Alternately, in SD3 you should be able to go to settings>libraries and select the “browse for libraries “ button
At that point you can either startup Product Manager to authorize or do so within SD3.
hope this helps
