I’d like to monitor the bleed levels in the various kit piece mics among each other. I’ve read the manual, but can’t seem to find how to do it. I’m assuming there is already mic bleed present in many of the kits recorded in that great drum room they used. Thanks.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by monitor the bleed? As in solo just the bleed? There isn’t a bleed solo facility but you can open a channel Mixer Property box and turn off the direct close mic (iow, open the snare mixer property box and move the direct snare slider down to turn it off). That will leave just the active bleed (if any).

Thanked by: Billy 86Yes, I’d like to hear the bleeds in, say, the snare mics, or maybe the kick mics. Your suggestion seems like it would accomplish that for each kit piece. 👍 Thanks for the info.

All you really need to do is solo the kit piece that you want to hear bleed in. For example, if you want to hear the snare bleed through the kick drum, solo the kick and Play the snare. That is really all there is to it.
As Scott stated, you can define both what and how much bleed you want in the channel mixer property box.
