I’m having an issue with the USB Midi output of my TD-1KPX2. “Midi Monitor” app recognises it, and it shows up in Audio Midi Setup on my mac, but it doesn’t seem to want to talk to any apps other than Midi Monitor. All my other controllers are working nicely. The TD-1 was working great until recently, and nothing has changed that I’m aware of. I’m wondering if Apple might have broken plug-and-play with an OS update? I’ve tried different USB ports and cables, and the same cable/port works with different controllers, so that doesn’t seem to be the issue.
Logic: It appears under the Inputs tab in Midi preferences, but notes don’t register in the Midi Activity window. There are no input filters selected under Midi project settings.
Superior Drummer 3: The TD-1 doesn’t appear under Midi Devices, even when I re-scan.
If you have any suggestions, they’d be very welcome!
