Are you using it in a DAW? What is the tempo in DAW? If standalone, do you have a breakpoint added somewhere at 120bpm in the Song Track Tempo Editor?

    Hi Scott,

Yes, I am using it with Pro Tools 2020.9.1

I have been using it in Grooves. Yes, I have been adding a breakpoint. I click on Track, edit tempo, click on options add Breakpoint at Playhead, then click Increase Tempo. Everything looks good, but when I click play, tempo stays at 120. Also, I am using Follow Host. Hope that helps

Sorry, this may sound silly but, can you walk through points of how you start Pro Tools and insert SD3 on a stereo instrument track within a session.

    Thanks

Are you saying you’re adding breakpoints in the S3 Song Track while having Follow Host active? With Follow Host active, the tempo changes in the DAW will supercede any in the Song Track. You would need to have the tempo changes in Pro Tools and not the S3 Song Track for S3 to follow.

I think I understand can you send any videos specifically for this issue

    Thanks

Here’s a YouTube on how to put tempo changes in Pro Tools. If you don’t see the tempo ruler go to View > Rulers > Tempo

Setting SD3 to follow host will follow the tempo changes in Pro Tools. It can’t be done the other way around.
