I checked FAQ and I saw an issue similar to this, but the solution did not work. I recently purchased EZDrummer 2 in hopes to use it in place of Logic’s drum kits, I got the MIDI working, but when I tried hooking it to logic, EZDrummer does not appear. I looked up the issue, and it said to connect through EZDrummer, but the MIDI out option is grayed and says “Not available in the standlone.” It is my understanding that standalone and host were two different versions, but that I could still host from Logic Pro X.
Do I have the wrong software? If so, how do I get the right one?
If I have the right software what am I missing?
Load EZD as a software instrument in Logic, similar to any other instrument.

I have loaded many instruments into logic before and it was simple. EZDrummer, however, does not appear.
Check the plug-in manager to see if it is validation. If it is not, then try resetting and revalidating it.
It is working here.
