I noticed that the Heavy Rock Grooves, as well as a couple of other midi drum packs, are listed as being in a “full song” format, not in song section format (i.e. chorus, verse, bridge and so on). I have listened to some of the audio examples of the Heavy Rock Grooves” midi drum pack, and I can see parts of these midis as something I could really use. However, I am accustom to working in the song section format in SD3, where I can easily drag in the different verses, choruses, fills and so on without having to go into the SD3 midi editor.
My question is, since Heavy Rock Grooves is the full song groove and not individual song sections, when you drag the “full song” midi onto the timeline in SD3, is it still broken down into the individual sections (Verse, Chorus, etc.) or is it one huge long midi without the clear division/ color coding between the song sections? I am asking this for the sake of easy customization of the full length song groove. With dragging in midis by the individual song section part, it is clearly color coded so it is easy to swap up drum fills, verses and so on. If it is a whole song midi file and you drag it onto the song creator timeline, is there still that color coding, so a person could swap in a different chorus or bridge? Or are you pretty much have to use the “full song” midi as-is, unless you want to go into the midi editor and do some midi surgery?
Thanks in advance,
Shayne
It’s truly for creative expression… you can drag each piece in as the “song”, but why would you? Take what you need need, write , create and worry not about licensing since you paid for the use in every element!
The only thing I see on the product page is:
Where is this implying a single song groove?
