If for instance, I send certain mic tracks to a buss, and insert a compressor plugin on that buss, well in theory that compressor ‘plugin’ has some amount of inherent latency, call it “x.” In a full DAW with automatic delay compensation, other tracks without the compressor plugin would be automatically delayed by ‘x’ so that everything still plays back in phase with each other. My question is, does SD3 do the same thing? I.e., does the mixer and/or audio engine feature its own internal delay compensation, so that regardless of various effects used in the mixer, all the tracks remain phase aligned?
