Which preset? Sorry I read it again, you created it. Can you zip a project file up with the preset and post it here?

It probably got corrupted. Try and see if you can load it in parts to salvage what you can and rebuild the rest.

Ok, this is getting annoying. Any new preset that I create crashes Pro Tools on relaunch or reload. They also crash SD3 in standalone mode. Is there any specific info I can pass on to developers to find this bug?

    Go into;/Users/”USER NAME”/Library/Application Support/Toontrack/Superior3/PresetsEZX/SL-SUPERIOR_DRUMMER_3/S3Presets

Find a preset you are loading and causing crashes. Compress it (zip file) and post it here.

Are you loading Rock Foundry SDX first and then loading the preset?

Loaded ok for me in standalone when I loaded Rock Foundry SDX first.

    Just adding to this;

Update:1 When I try to save it as a project, SD3 crashes.

Update: 2 Now the preset crashes SD3 when I load it.

Yes, I load Rock Foundry before loading.

No matter what library I use, when I save a preset, it crashes Pro Tools (or SD3 in standalone) as soon as I try to load it

I have been able to load it couple of times and then it will crash sometimes. I hate when things are inconsistent. Still trying to figure out the recipe to make it work or not work.

Is there anything that is common across the presets you are making?

    2 things are in common…

    1) an imported midi file

    2) I stack a China cymbal from the Ez drummer kit from hell on one of the crashes

    Hey Brad,

If you could do me a huge favor, I’d be forever grateful. If you ever get my preset to load without anything crashing, could you save it and zip that back to me? Worth a shot.

That was my plan if I could get it to consistently load without crashing. I have some time so I will work on it….

So I think I have most of it done by loading the kit pieces separately from the user preset you posted. Highlight the kit piece in the drum builder window and then go to user presets, use the drop down menu from your preset and click on “Select Parts”.

The Crash on the far right seems to be the one that crashes the SD3, so I omitted loading it.

I have highlighted it in the graphic attachment.

And I’ve uploaded a modified version of your preset, hope I got most of it.
