Sorry if this has been asked elsewhere, I searched and couldn’t find it.
I’m new to EZBass and not particularly knowledgeable in MIDI. To get used to the program, I’m importing existing MIDI tracks pulled from Guitar Pro into Reaper and applying the EZ Bass plugin. On some tracks, it works flawlessly and sounds amazing. On others, though, I’m running into multiple issues. I know that Guitar Pro’s bass range is an octave lower than EZBass, so I’ve made that adjustment, but there’s clearly something else I’m missing. I’ve attached a MIDI file for a song that exhibits the issue… When I try to play this track, only the lowest notes play, and even then those notes are inconsistent. Can somebody take a look at the MIDI and see if there’s something in there that doesn’t work well with EZ Bass? Or if there’s another topic that covers this issue, can you point me there? Thanks!
