Ride & Hat transition problems using roland TD 8 to trigger SD 3

  Problem getting Ride cymbal (Roland TD 8) to trigger the Bow Tip & Bow Shank correctly. I setup the multi-zone, and can hear both sounds on the graphics pad in SD 3 but the Roland set does seem to trigger the second sound no matter how I adjust it and using the learn button.

  Also on the high hat the closed to open is drastic. I can’t seem to get a smooth transition when opening a closed tight HH to Open position (using to quick open / close)

  Can anyone advise a solution to either one of  these questions? Thanks, Craig
