Hello,
I am a new owner of SD3 and very impressed about the possibilities and user-friendly-handling of this top-of-the-list program for drummers.
Working with an MCU Pro from Mackie makes it very handy to work with the macros from SD3 even in Logic Pro X.
But I am looking about the possibility to “import” the macros which I have build in one Project directly into another (opend) Project without doing this with the “Default”.

You would import your macros from a preset rather than a project. Save your kit as a user preset and then either select the down arrow next to it (or option-click the preset) and select “Import Parts…”. From there, you will have the ability to import your macros to use with your MCU (mine is still going strong after all these years).

Thanks for the reply, but I can’t work that.
I will try to define my problem a little bit more:
I have a project in which I defined some macros, I can see some, they are Blue lighted.
I close this project now and open a New project, with another drum kit. Now I want to have my macros from the project before loaded in this new project because here they are all empty at this time.
I hope I cold define what I mean.

P. S. attached there are two pictures, the first one with the macros in, the second with no macros in it. I want the macros from the first into the second project. –
Macros or any kit information are not imported from projects. They are imported from kit presets. You must save the kit as a user preset in order to import the macros from it.

Thank you very much, now I know how to do that and it works.
P. S. I would not miss my Mackie MCU Pro, so as you I think. Very fine machine.

Stay in good healthy!
