I am using EZ D2 and Logic Pro X, how do I accomplish getting a reverse sound before the actual hit (for snare, cymbal or any other sound).
I am new to EZ Drummer, and apologize if this has been covered before, but i didn’t see an easy way to search the forum.
EZD2 will not do that for you out of the box. Since you work in a DAW, I recommend exporting the a single snare/cymbal hit as an audio file. Import that file back into logic, reverse it in Logic, and then place it where it needs to be in your song manually (outside of EZD2 in it’s own audio track).
If you look at the very top of the Toontrack Website, the search box seems to be for the products, but that search box is for the entre site including finding posts on the forums.
I hope this helps.

There are quality cymbal swells in EZDrummer 2. Go the Search Tab –> secondary Tab “Library” select Modern/Vintage and under Play Style select “Cymbal Swell”. Quite a few options there. Then as Shootie mentioned, reverse it within your DAW.
