UNINSTALL tool doesn’t work – EZDrummer Trial Version

  Hi there.

  I recently downloaded the EZDrummer trial version.

  I would now like to uninstall the trial (and replace it with another Toontrack product, I like to keep my workstation limited to software I’m using)

  The ‘uninstall’ tool does not work on my Mac.    Is there an updated version of the uninstall tool?

  Hi,

  If you are using Catalina or Big Sur, no sorry, there’s no working uninstaller for the demo. You’d have to delete the files by hand:

  • /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/EZdrummerDemo.vst
  • /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/EZdrummerDemo.component
  • /Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/EZdrummerDemo.aaxplugin
  • /Library/Application Support/Digidesign/Plug-Ins/EZdrummerDemo.dpm
  • /Library/Documentation/Toontrack/EZdrummer Demo Manual.pdf

  You can also delete the following if you have not installed the full version of EZdrummer 2 as well:

  • /Applications/Toontrack/EZdrummer.exe
  • /Library/Application Support/EZDrummer (if you did not choose a custom location for the sounds in the installer) – the entire EZDrummer folder if you are not using any other drum product by Toontrack (including drum MIDI packs), otherwise just EZX2_EZdrummer2_Modern, EZXP_EZdrummer2_Percussion and Database
