Greetings, friends!
I’m brand new to the EZ Drummer world. Still barely know how to make it work, but getting started.
I’m considering doing a fun cover of Rush’s “Spirit of Radio” with my wife, but there’s no way I can possibly program Peart’s drum track with my limited knowledge of the app. Then I thought there must be a community out there of people who use EZ Drummer 2 to cover all kinds of songs and share their tracks.
So is there a place to download folks’ uploaded masterpieces and give credit to the uploader?
Also, when we use EZ Drummer 2, we’re just creating one track for an entire drum set, yes? There’s no option to create multiple individual tracks for each drum kit piece, correct? I don’t think I need that kind of complexity at this point, but it would be nice to know going in.
Thanks all,
Adam
If you can find the drum midi anywhere, you can simply import it into EZD2 as you may already know. This forum is as far as a EZD2 community goes that Toontrack hosts. You may want to research a generic drum midi community.
When you use EZD2 with your DAW (Pro Tools, Cubase, Garageband and so on), you can expand it’s capabilities greatly; such as using your DAW’s Piano Roll to access/program individual EZD2 instruments, use multiple instances of EZD2, advanced routing/mixing, and so on.
Superior Drummer, for the most part, does the aforementioned on it’s own.
Hope that helps.
