Hi,
Just downloaded ezbass, and have been trying to get the Song Track to play the midi bass grooves with my loop, but it only plays the bass. So here is what I’m doing, maybe someone can see what I’m doing wrong.
- I start by going to Audio Tracker and loading an eight bar audio sample of a guitar.
- I select the tempo and it converts it to a midi bass part.
- Then I press the Add MIDI to Song Track Button and it adds it to the Song Track.
- Then I select all 3 things in the Song Track i.e. Verse, Chords, midi bass notes so that an orange line/box surrounds all three. At this point I would expect it would play my guitar part and bass part at the same time, but it doesn’t; it only plays the bass. I’ve tried every combination of settings I could think of but just can’t get it to play both parts.
- The other problem is that the sample is in the key of A but it shows up on the Song Track as in the key of C. The chords are correct in the Song Track while C is indicated, but if I change it to the correct key, A, it changes all the original chords. Also the tempo is not carried over from the sample and I have to change that too, don’t know if that’s normal.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
