  I just upgraded my 2019 iMac M.2 NVMe card to 2tb. It gets over 3000 r/w speeds now. For space and faster load times I have my sd3 kits on an external thunderbolt instead of that garbage fusion non-sense.

  Is it worth moving the kits to the main drive for performance when working in a DAW?

  **if YES where is the default directory they would install too? I’ll just move them so any new kits I buy will to go there by default.**
