Where on earth do I find midi files with playing like this for mellow tracks?? The post rock pack is a disappointment imo. I purchased it and it’s not really like any post rock I’ve heard and I’ve listened to tons of it. So far a lot of the midi files I’ve paid good money for here are not very useful in actual songs at all – they are over the top. Superior drummer 3 sounds great, but the midi for sale here – not so much. Anyone else discovered midi elsewhere like I am seeking?

In the browser tab in S3, you can enable Show Webshop MIDI and do a search for what you’re looking for and the search will include all on the Toontrack MIDI (providedyou have internet connection), whether you own the pack or not.

Yes, I have already tried that and purchased 2 bundles this way – but midi for this type of music is few and far between based on your offerings.
Just buy some of the slow ballad midi stuff and use the Post rock Expansion like i do
Thanks – I think I have most of the slow ballad ones and I have the Post Rock grooves. Are you talking about the Post Rock for EZ drummer?
Can you link me to the specific ones you’re using? Thank you
From my own experience of bands that would call themselves part of the Post Rock genre, the drum sounds are simply rock acoustic drums, the problem is that there is such an ethereal pad of noise in that range of most music in this space that the drums are often lost in the mix. Lots of cymbal swells and more brush work on the snare would get you close to many post rock rhythm sections
