Say I like Verse 5 of Messy Rock BPM107 and I drag it into Cubase 10. And it works great for my song Number 1.
Then later on I say “Man I really like that groove I used in song number 1 . I’d like to use it again in song Number 2…. I wonder what groove that was in EZ Drummer 2?”
Is there a metatag or reference field or some identifier that I can look at on the EZ drummer 2 track from song Number 1 in Cubase 10 that I can look at to remember that this groove is the Verse 5 of Messy Rock BPM 107?
Hi,
I would simply record that groove back onto the EZdrummer 2 Song Track directly from Cubase and then drop it on the ‘Tap2Find’ drop zone.
The result list should have your groove at the top unless you have altered it very much.

I may be stupid but how can I recognize a groove when going back in an old song? Since I have monsters of grooves in all my packs, how do I know which ones I
‘ve used? I haev EZ 2 & 3 and also Superior.
